While Ben cannot have any, and I mean any association with anybody from the steelers (including any friends on the phone or off premises) Santonio can go to practice, hang out at the offices, go to meetings and do anything but play the games. OK, so its better to do drugs, drive while intoxicated, carry a loaded gun into an airport, start fights in strip clubs, all proven events and maybe get a little suspension, but get accused of sexual misconduct, but never convicted because of lack of evidence, and you get completely cutoff from the whole organization. Absolutely absurd. This might be the first time I ever side with the players during contract negotiations. The NFL is trying to match the ineptness of the NCAA.

Stop at 2minutes 39 seconds.  you will see from left to right, James, Maureen, in back Wayne, Center My wife Ellen, in back right Seth Greiner,Chuck Greiner, Phil, in front ME and Keith Greiner.  I put the last names of the Greiners because yes that's three generations of Steeler fans in that picture.  Maureen and Wayne are married as well.  Cool beans.   Afro I made the video.

For the names that came up on the cut lists, probably nobody for now. If Mendy stays healthy, it is a moot point anyway.

Also, if yinz hadn't heard, Urbik was picked up by the Bills, and Logan is Lion.

In a surprise move, the Baltimore Ravens reached agreement with former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh on a one-year, $855,000 deal, according to league sources.

Practice squad and team captains:

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/10249/1085506-100.stm

Quote
The players signed to the Steelers practice squad: TE Eugene Bright, OG Dorian Brooks, S Da'Mon Cromartie-Smith, WR Tyler Grisham, OT Kyle Jolly, DT Steve McLendon, FB Frank Summers and DE Doug Worthington.

Quote
The Steelers named only four captains, dropping three from last season and adding one, tight end Heath Miller. The three no longer captains are Ben Roethlisberger, Jeff Reed and James Harrison.

Joining Miller as captains are holdovers James Farrior, Hines Ward and special teams captain Keyaron Fox.

Well, I figured I hadda sorta kinda bury Agent...all in good fun of course but...

Honestly ammy, I had the same question. I'm just not sure since I am so not a college/draft follower. Maybe that question can be answered by a guy like Slash. All I know is that when he started for us, all of were like "zibbe-who?". Then we started to notice something. So far, the guy, as I've said, isn't flash like Reed. But he also takes fewer gambles than Reed. He's one of those real solid, stick to the book sorta players. It's give and take. Reed is a freak who sometimes maybe should be playing by the book helping in coverage, and as soon as you start wanting him to, he makes some unreal play to change a game. Z is more conservative but is always there, every play. That's why he's a very solid replacement for Reed. That's why I'm not that worried. He can't do the stuff Reed does but he can solidly take care of the business of his position.

Youre wrong. And putting up videos of what he did in college is irrelevant. The talent in college is less than half what it is in the NFL. I scouted Zbikowski when he was at ND. Hes just what I said he is for the NFL. College means nothing, except as a pro rated comparison versus what they will face in the NFL. Else wise Leinart and Mike Williams and all those other overhyped USC stars would be tearing up the NFL rt now. But in fact most of them are barely in the league.

I'm watching "Inside 9/11" on the National Geographic channel right now. You should be too, instead of the reality show Du Jour. As a former New Yorker, I feel pity for those for those who think it's OK to build a mosque on or near ground zero. IMO - and everyone has one of those - at best you lack common sense and at worst are active participants in swiftly and purposely moving our country away from what our founding fathers meant it to be.

This mosque will be built and it will serve our enemies to constantly shame us the world over, the same enemies that danced in the streets when news of the towers coming down spread like wildfire on TV. The ones that now have nuclear capabilities and willingness to use them or sell them to those that will, because we are no longer strong-willed enough to say "no way". Our country's essence, our greatness, is being bludgeoned in the name of political correctness and appeasement to peoples whose only wish and duty in life is to see us destroyed as a nation. It's happening under our very noses, subtlety be damned. So it's indeed the enemy from within that will bring us down. Pogo had it right, then: "We have seen the enemy and he is us."
